In 2016, Tom was prescribed antidepressnats, (Fluoxetine, later Escitalopram), in a desperate attempt to mitigate the frequency and severity of his panic attacks.
At the time, it was felt he may also have been depressed and anxious, like, disorderly so.
Anyway, Tom is susceptible to the most common side effects of SSRI-class antidepressants including, but not limited to, impotence and the utter annihilation of ones libido.
Tom is creative, and as an outlet, he started making little photos with his phone–dick pics with effort. Effort increased and he started using his DSLR.
He discovered the process of making photos was having an effect on him. For every hundred attempts (selfies were harder back then), a few shots stood out. A confidence boost to counteract the drain of the drug. More explicitly: where once the river runneth dry, he was drooling pre again.
Tom stopped making them for a few years as he fell out of love with and no longer depended on them.
Times change and boredom strikes.
